COCOYA is a select shop operated by Takahashi Co., Ltd. in Japan, which started in 2024. The word "COCO" comes from the word "comfortable" in Japanese (Cocochi-yoi). We mainly introduce Japanese products that bring comfort to our customers' daily lives, such as texture, ease of use, functionality, and design. Based on traditional Japanese crafts and ancient techniques, we will continue to offer products that are easier to use and improve the quality of life through modern interpretations.

 

Takahashi Co., Ltd., the operator of this site, was founded in 1937 as a textile company and is celebrating its 87th year this year. Takahashi Co., Ltd., which started as a textile company, has expanded into diversified businesses such as real estate, sports and leisure, fitness, food and beverage, agriculture, and commercial facilities in Japan, and also operates a real estate business in the United States.

Since its founding, the company has grasped the needs of the times and embodied "what is the content that will please each region and customer?" In the 1960s, the age of leisure, we opened golf driving ranges and bowling alleys, in the 2000s, when people sought added value in life and better health, we opened sports clubs, and in the 2010s, we opened restaurants and cafes to expand the enjoyment of food, all of which have been our efforts to create "comfortable spaces."

Looking ahead to our 100th anniversary, we will continue to expand our business so that we can provide "comfortable" = "COCO" to customers not only in Japan but also in regions around the world.

 

COCOYA will mainly sell online, but we will also hold regular pop-up events and incorporate customer feedback to enrich our product lineup.
